Erica's boss asks her to come to the office.

As she walked by the office, Erica's manager, Devan, opened the door and noticed her. "Oh, Erica. Could you come inside the office for a moment?" He headed back into the office.

Erica blinked in surprise. What could the manager want with her? With some trepidation, she stopped heading towards the registers and listened to Devan's instructions, joining him in the office.

Devan led the way to his desk in the corner and proceeded to sit down. Erica was unsure if she was expected to remain standing or if she should sit down, so she waited for further instructions.

"Now," Devan began saying. "Do you know why I brought you back here, Erica?"
