What's next?
Reed and Doom try to fix things and make them worse
Sue created a barrier between herself and Doom and ran. Doom's security system let him follow her easily, but she just kept using her **** fields to stave him off. "What's going on?" she muttered to herself, "Normally he would have activated an electrified floor, or sleeping gas or something by now." Finally, she found a phone. She dialed Reed's number and waited.
"Hello?"
"Reed! It's me, Sue, I'm in Doom's castle!"
"So? Where else would Mrs. Doom be?"
"Mrs. Doom?! Reed, I'm your wife!"
"I don't know what kind of game you're playing, Susan, but I'm not going to fall for it." Reed hung up.
"So that's what's going on." Victor Von Doom said from behind her, she dropped the phone and spun around. "Don't worry, your conversation with Reed made some things quite clear. It seems that you're the only person who remembers you being married to Richards, and by your costume, being part of the Fantastic "Four" so I ran some tests. There seems to have been a disturbance in the fabric of the multiverse."
"So what you're saying is that this isn't my universe?"
"Exactly. Now, follow me. I'll help you get home."
Sue hesitated, knowing she didn't have a choice. "Why should I trust you?"
Victor turned back to her, reached up, and removed his metal mask. She had never seen his scarred face before, and she gasped. "Because, Sue, I want the love of my life back."
She nodded, and followed him. What kind of universe was this, where she had married Doom?
Soon, he was telling her to lie down on a strange, glowing device. "This will follow the trail you left when you tore through dimensions, and switch you back with my Sue."
"There, got it. I've found the dimension it sent Sue to. Now step in there, and it will transfer you back, after which the resonance principle of bidimensional travel will cause enough feedback to return everyone to the proper places." Susan Von Doom stepped into the device, and Reed began furiously pressing the buttons. "Hmm, that reading's not quite right. There's some sort of interference."
"No! Something's wrong!" Victor shouted, "the path you're taking is distorted! You could end up-!" And that was the last thing Sue heard before she vanished.
The two Sues went spinning through the multiverse, their trajectories knocked far off course by each other's attempt to return home.
Where do they end up?
