ask for help

Weighing up his options on what would be the most humiliating, peter eventually gritted his teeth and decided to ask the girls for help.

Peter slowly edged his way closer to the girls, getting as close as he could while still keeping his waist submerged. And with his voice cracking he quietly proclaimed "h..hi there"... nothing.

the girls where still drinking and talking to each other not hearing peters pathetic cry. taking in a deeper breath and waving one hand around he shouted "HELLO!!".

The sudden shout slightly startled the girls, spilling a little of their beer, The girls turned around with an annoyed look on their face, which quickly changed as they saw the scrawny man in the lake.

"Hi.. could one of you please give me a towel or something, please"

the taller of the girls stood up and walked slowly to the edge of the water as her friend looked on, lounging on her side

The tall girl spoke with a smug somewhat knowing tone as she placed her hands on her hips "well hi there, now why would you need a towel, a little shy?" her friend giggled.

"look someone took my things while i was swimming, could you help me out?"

The girls looked at each other with a little smile on their face.

" we can but first ..."
