Fuu gets ready to take on the arena

"You may choose any weapon you like" Fan'zwit'zal said waving his hand in gesture to the rather extensive weapon rack on the far wall. Fuu crossed the chamber to examine them. It wasn't exactly a large room, mostly just a staging area for combatants with only some weapon and armor racks and a few small stone benches. Under the watchful eye of Fan'zwit'zal and two much bulkier lizardfolk guards, Fuu picked up a long spear. It wasn't nearly as well made as her naginata, and it lacked the cutting edge, but she could make do.

"Ah, quite versatile." Fan'zwit'zal said. "I favor an axe myself but you can never go wrong with a long stick."

Fuu nodded politely, then went on to select armor. Most of what they had available was of the lightweight style that the lizardfolk wore, though much of it was in human sizes. Fuu picked out some sparse lightweight options to try out, only to find herself disappointed at the provocative design. The outfits were crafted out of a heavy, woven cloth, nearly as thick as leather and much more flexible.

The only concern was the sheer skimpiness of their design. While most of the pieces seemed functional enough and covered most of her vitals, there was no clothing involved, just the broad forms of piecework armor plates with bare skin freely exposed wherever the armor didn't directly cover.

"I suppose this will do." Fuu said. She rotated her joints and took a few practice swings with the spear to get a feel for them.

"Indeed." said Fan'zwit'zal, looking her up and down. There was less lust in his eyes than most other Lizardfolk they had met thus far, but his gaze did still seem somewhat overly appreciative. "I will go make preparations. They will let you through when it is time."

With that, Fan'zwit'zal started back up out of the room, leaving Fuu alone with the pair of silent guards.
