Fuu fights a group of kobolds

Fuu didn't have to wait long before one of the guards grabbed her attention with a gesture from his weapon. The stone slab that blocked the path up to the arena pulled away, leaving Fuu with one clear direction to go. She nodded and gave a smiling thanks to the guards, then began to make her way up the sloping path until she walked out into the bright lights and lively atmosphere of the stone arena ring.

"Presenting, Fuu Teoming! Our next challenger was brought to the city a **** upon her defeat, but can she redeem herself in the eyes of the Goddess by striking down her foe?!" Fan'Zwit'Zal's voice echoed out. "Our other competitors too seek to redeem themselves, though they could never do it alone! Can they atone for their sins against the tribes in service to their horrid master?"

As he finished speaking, a stone plate across from where Fuu stood began to shift backwards. It hadn't even finished moving aside when a pair of tiny, reptilian hands reached out. A kobold squirmed out through the tiny gap, followed by another, then another. As the slab finally finished opening, five kobolds stood across the ring from Fuu.

Fuu braced herself as she quickly scanned her foe. Kobolds were nearly as weak as goblins on their own, but they definitely had her at a hefty numbers advantage. Two of them were armed with nets and small tridents, while a third held an over sized shield with both hands. The final two wielded slings. With the stony arena littered with rocks, letting them run out of ammunition would be impossible.

The fight looked tougher than Fuu would have liked. She just had to focus and keep track of all of them so she could take them down quickly before they overwhelmed her. Fuu readied her spear as the kobolds began to move.
