You all go gambling

It turned out that we didn't really go that far. Just downstairs. Lisa wanted to gamble, so we went to the slots. I occupied myself betting the minimum and actually won a few rounds. Feeling good, and coming out of the slots a little bit ahead, we moved on to other games.

My luck persisted at roulette, and then we moved on to craps. I kept winning rounds, so the others began proposing other things that I could front for my bets, none of which I liked. "Remember," they kept reassuring me, "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."
