Make a Hunting Ground
"So you're still level 3. You can use your throwing knife well?"
"Yes, Mistress!"
Just for something to talk about you tried asking about his abilities. Lo and behold, they are exactly the same as yours were yesterday morning. Compared to yourself, that much is almost nothing. But the right circumstances, in the right environment, can overcome that. You've proven that.
Wandering through the trees, your ears pick up the sound of rushing water. Following it, you come to a riverbank. The water below flows swiftly, enough it could wash any of the beginner heroes that frequent these woods away. Except maybe the knights. They would sink quickly, though. Around the river the bushes and trees grew better, denser, offering plenty of cover. Looking up- and downstream, you see only bends in the river some fifty meters away, give or take.
It's a good start, but you could probably do better.
Set up here?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
