Something different!

As you study her You see Solentz for the first time. She is afraid looking to you with sorrowful eyes that plead with your better conscious. You turn to Knash and confidently approach him. “I'll trouble you for the Datapad.” Your voice is naturally authoritative and Knash hands over the data pad obediently. You skim the information, your suspicions are correct, she was consistent in interrogation and has no known ties to the Republic or the Jedi. She has no reason to conduct anti-imperial activities, no family member to avenge or crime to set right. Solentz had an imperial bounty hunter licence at the time and you note she is unmarried.

You are typing into the data pad as you begin to speak. “Solentz here will be neither executed or cut down in a trial by combat. She will prove useful to the empire. She will be sent to imperial intelligence. Don’t worry about the transfer papers I have expedited and submitted the documentation. Get a guard in here and release her.”

Solentz is stunned shocked into silence by disbelief. She was sure **** was certain in one flavor or another. And was prepared to rage until her final moment. But now it seems she has been saved by a Sith! Given a second chance and you know she feels hugely indebted to you. There are a few thoughts that cross her mind when she considers how she can thank you. You sense her feelings and feel her embarrassment as she represses her thoughts. You focus, you are afraid Knash may disagree with your judgement. You turn to him and present his datapad.

“Interesting choice.” He responds slowly evidently surprised. He then quickly inputs some information into his datapad and a guard enters to release and attend to Solentz. “I think you need the case files on your datapad. If you could just pass me yours.” You nod and turn to him passing your datapad. “Good idea.” As you turn you see blue bird’s eyes tracking you from across the room. She paces on the inside of her bars like a predator in a zoo enclosure. She finds you interesting very interesting.
