The Reach

You decide to try to join up with Renly's forces.

The night you stayed at that inn at the crossroads last week, you had learned a lot of interesting things by listening in on the other patrons' conversations. Eavesdropping may not have uncouth, but you had to use whatever resources you could.

One thing you had heard was that the entirety of Renly's forces had been camped at Bitterbridge for a couple weeks, and apparently, they would likely be there for quite a while longer.

You also heard a rumor that Stannis planned to lay siege to Storm's End soon, the ancestral home of House Baratheon. Storm's End was currently held by Renly, but Stannis was willing to seize the castle, even if by force.

Lastly, you heard a rumor that Balon Greyjoy was planning to launch a campaign against the North. That would not mean good news for Robb Stark, as most of their bannermen were fighting in the south.

Neither of the latter reports really troubled you, though. The quarrels between nobles were the business of nobles, too. As a commoner, it was none of YOUR concern.

"Alright, Aerion," you mutter to your faithful destrier, "We're off to the Reach."

After emerging from the Kingswood, you cross over from the Riverlands into the Reach. Shortly after this, you turn Aerion southwest and continue in that direction.

Do you make it to Bitterbridge without encountering anyone?
