Definitely not humans.

As her eyes went past the white doorframe, Ava finally saw what they were up against. There were two definitely not human beings in the back of the room, but they couldn't have looked any different. One appeared to be female with light blue skin and braided dark purple hair. She was very slender but even more noticeably tall. She must have had at least a foot on Ava. The agent couldn't tell the material of the alien's clothing, but it appeared to at least look like metal armor. However it seemed to barely protect much of anything as her top appeared to be a twist-front bikini top and a matching loin cloth which ended near the being's knees. She didn't appear to have any weapons, but was holding a golden staff with a blue stone or gem at the top.

The second was a completely different looking being. A bulge in its tight black and gold shorts allowed Ava to make the deduction that it was a male alien. What the first alien had in height and slenderness, this one made up for in muscles. While still taller than the average human, this thing looked like pure over-sized muscle. It's bright red skin and taut frame blended in with the blinking red emergency light. The beast appeared to have matching black and gold finger-less gloves which appeared to be made of the same material as his companion's. No weapons either but, after doing a double take, Ava realized that this thing had 4 equally brawny arms.

Ava couldn't tell which one was more dangerous, but safe to assume both shouldn't be underestimated. She scanned the room for any more signs of danger when she made a startling discovery. There on the other side of the room she found members of the crew. They were completely nude and looked to have been thrown in a pile. There appeared to be instances of clear and black liquid covering portions of their skin and the ground around them. Ava squinted and was able to determine two things. First, at least one is still alive as she saw the bare chest of one of the crew rise and fall ever so slightly. The second, they were all female. Doing some quick math, she knew that there were at least 3 male crew members missing.

Right before she turned back to Spark, she saw a red illuminated button blinking at a control panel near them. The dark screen just above the button blinked "_RE-STABILIZE!" _She could only assume pressing that button may stop the station from crashing into Earth, as simple as that sounds. Ava went to Spark and motioned her to take a quick look as well. Once Spark got a good enough look she crouched down next to Ava.

Using just hand gestures, Ava came up with a plan. One of the agents would enter the first of the two doors in the hall, cause a distraction, then retreat back into the hallway having the aliens chase her. The other agent would enter the other door, stabilize the ship, then take the aliens from behind. Spark gave a thumbs up and then asked who would be the bait?
