The session closes

Dr Valentine immediately addressed them both as they returned to their seats. “Having spoken with you both individually I have had some ideas on how we should proceed. The first thing I want to happen is for John to start watching Lilith in the shower.”

“What?” “Excuse me?” Both voices rang out in unison.

“I know it sounds odd but allow me to explain as I believe it will be beneficial to both of you. “What I believe is that this phrase is indicative of a supressed internal fantasy of John’s. This is quite common for a man of John’s age and it is nothing to worry about Lilith. However, it is a facet of the confused mental state that I believe to be contributing to John’s problem. As such I want to address this issue. Don’t worry John, I understand your feelings. “I don’t follow.” Lilith spoke up in response.

“The sexual part of the male brain is very much like a child. You give it what it wants and it will quickly grow bored of it. By not only endorsing this fantasy of his but saturating him with it, John’s subconscious will over time see less appeal in watching his mother shower.”

“I suppose that makes sense.”

John considered the idea. Dr Valentine had promised that this would put an end to the weirdness he was experiencing with his mother. That alone was worth any discomfort. “I want to try it. I think it will help.”

“Well Lilith. Can you say no to that?”

Lilith looked deeply conflicted but after some time she finally relented. “Okay, I guess we can give it a chance. Its not like his treatment hasn’t already brought about a strange dynamic between us.”

“Very good Lilith. Remember this is all for the sake of John health. If you have difficulty with this, just remember your mantra. There is one more thing I should have you realise about this however. Naturally, watching you in the shower is going to have an effect on John. Do not treat this as strange. Remember, at that time John will not be seeing you as his mother but as an object of his sexual fantasies and this exercise is in place to allow him to work that out of his system. “Alright, on to the next order of business. I want to talk about Claire’s arrival and how it will affect things going forward. It would be ideal if we could get her on board with John’s treatment as I believe the extra support will be invaluable. I have begun formulating some ideas on how she may be able to assist in it as well.”

“Hold on a second.” Lilith interrupted. “I agreed on explaining John’s issue to Claire to garner her support but I’m not sure I want to include her in the treatment. It doesn’t seem appropriate.”

“Lilith, Claire is a grown woman and I’m sure she can make the decision to help John on her own if she decides to. I will not be asking her to do anything that she deems too inappropriate to do with her brother and if I did, she is well within her ability to say no.”

“Yes, you’re right.” Lilith backed down, having taken a blow to her pride as a mother.

“John, before your sister becomes acclimated to the situation, perhaps this will be a good opportunity to work on that other issue you described for me. For tomorrow only, I want to try and abstain from masturbation for as long as possible after your mom leaves to pick up your sister. Is this acceptable?” For once John had no trouble accepting what the doctor advised him. His sister walking in on him masturbating was not something that he wanted to deal with.
