Which Monster Do You Want To Follow?

And here we find the single most boring existence of all. You aren't even an actual monster, just a simple quest objective. Granted, you have stats and the "heroes" will get XP for killing you, but since you have no attacks or abilities AT ALL, that doesn't really matter. In fact, the only reason you have stats at all is because the devs couldn't get your status as a breakable quest objective to work right. But it wasn't all bad though. Like it or not, as an egg, you did have a mom.
Ethiria, Dragon Queen of the Storm Mountains, and Area Boss extraordinaire.
Perhaps the only thing that made your existence tolerable was watching her. Players would come from all around Alluvia to challenge her, few ever leaving alive. She may have lost a few times, but she always respawned and so did you. Plus when there were no players threatening you, she was surprisingly kind to you and the rest of your fellow eggs.
But that didn't change the fact that you were likely the weakest monster in this entire game.

One day, as you "wake up" you can feel that something is slightly different. You can't quite place what it is, but the feeling remains. Before you have a chance to process it, you hear something approaching your mother's den.

What's coming?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
