Cecilia wakes up alone!

Cecilia awoke in the middle of the night. Or at least, she thought it was still the middle of the night. These things were hard to tell in the caves. She looked around and saw under the lingering glow of Dew's light spell (now diminished over time) that the bed and Dew's bedroll were empty!

Suddenly alert, she scrambled to her feet. Her sword had been set aside, allowing the door to be opened. Opened from the inside? She picked up her blade and went out into the hall. She heard some sounds from the living room to her left, but to her right, deeper into the mage's home, she saw a strange green glow...
