You sit in your cell trying to come up with a backup plan. Hirsch is the lynch pin of plan A and plan B isn't making much progress in the planning phase. The modern day cells on Astroships are designed specifically by escape artists to be completely inescapable. The only known escape methods for this cell are compromised security or total power failure. Basically, either my jailer lets me out or engineering explodes. Both of those possibilities seem very unlikely.

You start thinking of all the other officers that would listen to your story, but almost everyone on this ship is too new. Either way, it'd be best to buy Hirsch a beer when you make it out of here. He'll be sure to trust you after that.

You hear the sound of the doors open and perk up in the hopes of getting rescued.

"Leave the room, Ensign," the captain commands.

No! Hirsch! You idiot! I don't care if I make it out of here or not now. He's only getting warm beer from here on out.

"Captain, I can't leave..."

"That's an order, Ensign!" She interrupted him.

You hear the door open and close and assume that it was Hirsch running scared. The **** field holding you deactivates and you're free to run. At least until the captain walked in front of your only means of escape with a phaser pointed right at you.

"I offered you anything you wanted. All the riches of the galaxy just handed to you on a whim, all the women you could possibly ask for that puts your wants above their needs," she ran her free hand up her body and squeezed one of her tits, "And you planned to trick me."

"Well, I didn't think you'd influence everyone I'd come in contact with."

"You humans and your Astrofleet disgust me. You have immense power and resources and refuse to use it for power. You can't even begin to imagine the empire I could create!"

You've had about enough of this power hungry speech. You're wearing boots and long pants, so there's little to no chance of getting touched if you do your best to recall those self-defense courses you took years ago.

You let a kick fly directed at the captain's hand and knock the phaser out of her hand. A look of pure rage showed on her face as she began to charge you. With quick reflexes, you avoid her charge. Her momentum ended up working against her and she slipped when her foot landed in the puddle of vomit.

A disgusting turn of events for sure, but it's a great opportunity to escape. You run straight for the phaser and grab it. By the time you switch it to stun, the captain is on her feet again getting her bearing straight. You pull the trigger and hit the captain. Naturally, security should detect the phaser fire and come storming in. You run to the computer console and lock yourself in the brig and activate the **** field of your former cell. It'll hold Captain Miller when she wakes up.
