They drove in silence for a while. Lauren appreciated. She could do little to explain her strange behavior. She clutched her body and crouched in her seat. Finally her mother spoke up.

"Well, I hope you enjoyed yourself!" Her mother scoffed. "Running around naked. Streaking! Do you know how humiliating this is for me?"

"You?! What about me?" Lauren objected.

"Well then why did do it?" Her mother asked.

"I... I thought it was a dream..." Lauren said. Her mother shot her a glare. Yeah, I know it sounds lame, Lauren thought. _But it's the truth! _Her mother either didn't believe her or didn't care.

"If you're going to make up ridiculous excuses, maybe I'll start your punishment right now!"
