The longer route.

Thinking things over for a bit I figure that its better to take the safer route. I pack a little extra food and set out at dawn , making sure to give any extra stuff to the front desk clerk to hold for me as i pocket the plastic chit. Setting off as early as it is I follow the river , it will get me there but take a bit longer. Overall i make some decent time , the first few days were uneventful minus one event.

On the 2nd day I ran in to a group of 3 people who just came from the village near that temple , doing some research on that tribe. I take a moment to spend some time asking them some questions. 'So what should I know about this tribe and their nearby temple ? ' I asked , A female researcher replys 'Its quite the special group of people oddly enough a perfect 50/50 balance of men and women there. The temple is built to preserve the balance , they often have gatherings there, and have some sort of artifact they wont show anyone in there. Also I would suggest to talk to the shaman there if you want more info , they have someone who can translate the tribal language to Spanish, *chuckles* I hope your Spanish is good' . I reply ' It's decent enough , thanks for the help' .

I bid them farewell , and head towards the Village and Temple. I saw a few other people along the way as the river is the normal way to get anywhere in the jungle. I hate the humidity and the heat , as well as the bugs , thank god I brought my bug spray.

Finally after about 4 and a half days I get near the Village and Temple, I have to choose do I try to knock this out ? or do I go and see the Village first?
