Chapter 4
by CrocodileHAZARD
What powers have the experiments imprinted on you?
Your energy blasts are cold and frigid: robbing heat and freezing their target.
A typical Tamaranean's energy based powers always carried heat and radiation as part of the mix. Sure, they're often not at a lethal or permanently damaging level, but it is still quite possible for your people to use those abilities to cut or melt through objects with a high degree of focus. In addition to your superior sense of strength and endurance, your ability to fly, and your other natural abilities, Tamaraneans are especially well noted for their "Starbolts".
However, the experiments conducted on you left them permanently altered. As such, when you "exploded" in a burst of emotional energy, you literally flash-froze half the ship. A crash landing was all but guaranteed because of how close the lab and prisoner cells were to the engines. Needless to say, the Gordanians didn't very much like that their leader's ship crash landed in their capital city.
Barely surviving the crash yourself, you fought tooth and nail to get by on a planet with hostiles around every corner. Unfortunately, your Starbolts were not the only thing affected by the experiments.
Like your Starbolts, your skin turned from its natural orange hue to a pale blue. Your hair and eyes were bright white, and you no longer possessed the same degree of strength you formerly possessed. Nor are you capable of flight anymore.
Instead, you find that by breathing in, and focusing on holding it, you can effectively "freeze" time around you until you exhale. In addition, you gain the ability to phase through most solid objects while the environment around you is unmoving.
Unfortunately, control of your abilities is haphazard at best, given how they have completely different triggers compared to your native-born ones. At times, your new abilities have threatened to consume you because of it. But despite the odds, you survive. And better yet, you manage to steal a ship and escape without significant harm.
But you didn't have the kind of fuel to make a full trip to Tamaran. Even if you could, you doubt that you truly would, given what you've become. Fear of your people's reaction to your new form and abilities caused your powers to run amok, and soon the ship completely froze over right as it passed by Earth. The ship was just close enough to get caught in its gravitational pull, and you soon made yet another crash landing with a Gordanian ship.
And as luck would have it, you crashed in Jump City.
How are you recieved by the Titans?
