Rule 5: Get pierced or teased

With every hour that went by, the pain got worse and worse. But you were strong enough to handle it. Better this than giving birth. Everything was better than staying like this.

‘How long will it take?’ You dare to whisper.

‘Halfway there lady.’ Jack grumps. He’d told you to be silent. But god was it boring here. You couldn’t take it any longer.

‘Can I use my phone, please?’

Jack said nothing, but lifted his equipment so you could bend over to the table where your phone was.

No messages from that witch, good.

You lay back and start browsing reddit about tattoos while Jack continues working on your own.

It wasn’t long before a new message made your heart jump.
