soon after
reach the village
the anxiety became a thousand, I tried not to think about it and to walk as slowly as possible. The village was typical of the countryside, a street with houses on the sides from which other lanes probably branched off.
There was no living soul, more complete silence except for a few chaffinch or for the branches moved by the wind.
he asked me if it was better to get away as soon as possible or maybe look in some house to find useful stuff.
as they walked notaries and judging by the reaction of the two, not just me, of the bicycles against the wall.
Obviously the steps became quicker without running to make a mess, but the joy of the first moment was dampened when we noticed the conditions of those bikes, a cluster of scraped wheels, some without dumbbells or saddles.
<< fucking ... >> exhaled irritated as I continued to walk, resigned to the idea that we would continue to walk.
I was about to turn around when I felt nasty screaming and jumping ... A mouse ... a fucking mouse!
Omar ran towards her terrified, gesturing to him not to make a noise, my eyes of different color were thrown wide open and all three fell into a deep silence, ears pulled up like antennas to pick up any sound. They were moments of terror, so frightened that I forgot to breathe. Even my heart seemed to have stopped beating.
Then a thump made me jump in the air, there was a second thud and a third, it seemed that someone gave heavy blows to a gate.
"Let's go girls" he said, frightened, moving a few steps backwards.
On the fourth I saw a few hundred yards, an apple-green gate with rust stains opening and a dozen of infected run screaming at us.
<< go! go! >> Omar shouted and so we ran
