Yes, but not through the front door

Lauren realized fairly quickly that she couldn't just stay outside the entrance to the school. Not for very long anyway. It was a chilly evening and she was already soaked. She would catch a cold or worse. Plus, if she hung around the entrance it was more likely than not that someone might come along and see her, people were always coming and going at events like this and she desperately didn't want to be seen by any of the snide bitches from her school years looking anything less than perfect. If she was going to survive this evening with her health and dignity intact she decided she was going to have to find a way inside the school without being seen and get to a phone so she could call another taxi. The only problem was how...

Then she remembered. There was a back door that led to the kitchen and it was never locked, at least it was never locked when she attended the school. That was her ticket in. As pleased as someone who was drenched in muddy water could be, Lauren hurried around the side of the school intent on entering through the kitchen door.

As luck would have it though, getting around to the kitchen door in the back of the school wasn't going to be as easy as she had envisioned. At some point since she had graduated they had constructed a formidable looking stone wall complete with metal spikes that completely surrounded the sides and rear of the school. There was a gate, but it was padlocked. If she was going to get to the kitchen entrance it looked like she was going to have to climb the wall. This however didn't seem like a promising venture to undertake wearing a cocktail dress, stockings and heels.
