Group plan in the office

“So what the hell was that?” I hear right as Nate and I walk back inside. “I’m not complaining but I thought the rule was to not fuck with the miss? Seems like we did that and a lot more.” The voice belonged to Jimmy, who had been watching the ordeal but hadn’t really gotten involved himself. I looked at Nate and said “I think we’re going to have to tell them everything Nate.” “Yeah, I think you’re right” So Nate and I proceeded to give the whole story, including Ben’s “plan” for retaliation.

“What the fuck?! There’s no way!” “It’s true, I heard the whole thing.” That doesn’t mean shit, that call could have meant anything.” Nate spoke up “It adds up. Everything.” A silence went over the office. “So what? We either ruin this guy’s life or we do nothing?” With a sigh I answer with “Look, the second he owns up to it or stops this, our plans stops too.” I wasn’t even sure what the plan was really.

“Look, let’s just clean up, exchange numbers, and get out of here. We can talk about this tomorrow.” Nate said the smartest thing all night. This was certainly going to be an interesting job. However long it lasted.
