*Xin-Xi*

The Chinese/Japanese themed Xin-Xi begin surrounded by tall lone mountains and Sakura Cherry forests. Their starting tech is 'Climbing' which allows them to scale mountains and gain a sight range bonus from it. Expanding early is even more critical for Xin-Xi players than normal as their starting tech is exploration based rather than combat or growth based. It is also recommended that they research the "Organization", "Fishing", or "Hunting" tech their first turn as this allows their cities to grow: chose whichever one has at least two associated resources next to the capitol. If none do, save your stars to purchase mining, at the start of the next turn, which almost always has at least one square next to the capitol.
