Make the situation worse

For the next few minutes Evie wondered around the courtyard trying to formulate a plan, judging by the height of the sun Evie figured it was around midday and at midday everyday the train hideout was always around whitechapel. There was no way in hell Evie was going to trek halfway across the city in broad daylight fully naked but she had to do something. Realizing she stood a good chance of being seen if she tried climbing Evie decided to stick to the ground.

To the right of the courtyard Evie was standing in was a door which lead to an alleyway, wanting to stay on the ground it was the only way out on foot. The sounds of horseshoes on cobble stones told Evie that to the right of the door was a street so obviously that way was a no go, to the left however lead deeper into the alley. Evie couldn't help but try and cover herself as she quietly and slowly left the courtyard, she hugged the wall and gingerly crept foward. The alley was deserted not a human in sight in fact the only other creatures there were two horses currently attached to a wagon, curiously no one was around but that suited Evie just fine. While Evie knew getting to that clothes line was her priority she couldn't help but stop and investigate the wagon, it was filled with boxes, barrels, and sacks and Evie had a small hope that she could borrow something from it to use as a movable cover.

To Evie's joy she noticed that several of the barrels had a white sheet draped over them, jumping into the wagon Evie began to grab at the sheet knowing she could use it as a makeshift dress until she reached the clothes line, she would look ridiculous but at least she wouldn't be naked. The sheet seemed to be snagged on something Evie would have to pull hard to get it loose, using all her strength Evie pulled and felt the sheet come loose sadly though only part of it came loose the other part still firmly stuck began to rip. the sheet ripped in two and Evie fell backwards with half the sheet into some of the sacks at the back of the wagon landing with a thud one of the sacks fell on Evie's leg trapping her in the back of the wagon her ripped half of the sheet falling on top of her draping over her.

Evie was about to try and move when she heard the sound of footsteps, staying still Evie listened hoping the steps would move away, to her horror however they got closer after a few seconds more she heard the sound of horseshoes moving and even worse felt the wagon begin to move.
