Old Acquaintances

Such a beautiful structure...that small river like pattern built around the property, feeding water to the many plants, big or small. Marble Fountains connected with those watered structures which erected many different statues, old Rathkin gods and deities. Huge slabs of stone create a pathway to the front door of this monstrosity. Two giant pillars create an arch which is the front door to this building. A guard on each side of the entrance door.

You look on as you slowly walk closer and closer, your body starting to feel nauseous as you take a step closer to the front gates of this building.

"Halt!" a guard shouts to you, holding his long shield and spear towards you.

The other guard quickly brings his arm across the body of the first guard "Wait!" he shouts "It's Darien!" he brings his hand up, forcing the spear of the first guard to go to a defensive position "Welcome home!" he says with a rock solid voice.

You take a moment to respond. Thankfully this guard remembers you or else it could have been a terrible situation. "Thank you sir!" you smirk at him as he turns his body to open the door to the decorated house "You fought well in the tournament!" he grins "Here, I'll bring you to our lady!" he quickly shakes your hand for a few seconds as he starts to lead the way to the Throne Room of the house.

After two minutes of walking, you eventually make it to two gigantic wooden doors, the guard pushes them open, revealing 6 stone pillars in a row of two, all of it leading up to a great hall with many royalty furnishes.

As you continue to walk up the teal carpeted walkway, your eyes finally notice the Lady of the house. You smirk at her, continuing your stride toward her, staying as confident as you could be. You were hoping she would be happy to see you again. Sure, you ditched her, ignored her and left her in search for your sister but realistically, you were the reason her stasis became even greater, her wealth almost tripled because of you, she must surely be happy to see you again............Right?

A few more strides and you're about 15 feet from the sexy silhouette in the foreground "Nice to see you again..." you grin at the figure, happy to see that beautiful figure once more "Lady Karisi..."
