To the Captives

You decide to quickly stroll over to the captives, see what's happening...maybe even report some of the soldiers if you see something going on. Most importantly though, you want to make sure none of the captives are Sunriders you know. If they are, you want to make sure they are being taken care of correctly.

You walk over to the tavern across the street, tell the couple of guards in front of the entrance that you wanted to take a peak at the captive Sunriders. They easily let you in without a second guess. Most likely if you got let in the front gate to the inner city, they just assumed you were Rathkin and wouldn't really question you at that point.

As you walk into the dimly lite room you see a a bunch of tables that are empty, many Rathkin soldiers standing around, talking, drinking, wasting time. As you skim the room, you see about 7 Sunriders sitting side by side on a longer bench, their hands bound with rope behind their backs and a piece of cloth tied around their heads, keeping them gagged. It seems like most of the Rathkin warriors are being civil...it's probably because in the corner of your eye you can see one of Rathkin's elite guards, dressed somewhat similar to Commander Rixx, just not as intricate designed and also no terrifying eagle warrior helmet. Still though, as Marcus said, if you see one, soldiers will stay civil.

As your eyes browse the handful of tied up Sunriders you stop in the middle. You see a face looking back at you. You know who it is, but she definitely looks a little out of it. One of her eyes is swollen shut, black and blue. Part of her right lip is cracked open, a trail of dried blood down her chin. You need to talk to her...

You walk up over to the Elite Guard "Sir, I need to speak with a Sunrider." you sternly say

The Elite guard just looks at you briefly, hesitates a few seconds and finally let's out "For what reason?"

"As you may know, I'm was in the tournament of Nillix, I befriended some people who used to go to and from the Syndicate, maybe, just maybe I can get something out of her. Worst case, I give her a second black eye." you chuckle lightly

The Elite guard smirks at you before going straight faced again. "You may talk with her, but do not defile or touch her inappropriately."

"Thank you sir." you nod at him before turning around and walking over to the hurt Sunrider.

You walk up to her, eyes looking at each other, you reach your arm out, grabbing around her bicep and pulling her to her feet. "You're coming with me. I've got some questions for you..." you say loud enough that many of the Rathkin warriors can hear "I suggest you tell me what I want to know." you continue to talk as you **** the Sunrider upstairs and into one of the private rooms.

As you reach the room, you push the Sunrider into it somewhat forcefully while slamming the door behind you. Once again, she turns around, looking back at you, slightly whimpering from the pain she's had to take.

You quickly walk up to the Sunrider, pulling out your dagger and cutting the rope that bound her hands together, you reach up and cut the gag out of her mouth as well. She lightly gasps for air and closes her eye, her nose sniffles as she brings her hands up and rubs his wrists slightly.

"I'm so sorry Lexie..." you start.
