Signs of human life

Below the horizon where the waterfalls off, just on the other side of the ginormous waterfall you can see rolling grasslands flowing up into small far away mountains, but inside these, you see something that makes your heart skip a beat, grey-white structures that look like a human settlement; however the walls around it seem to be covered in green and purple vines.

"Is that human?" you ask Haruka.

"I think so, The Asteria and The Artemis left before us, maybe it's one of their's" Haruka remarks.

"I think we should go over there after meeting back up with the others," you say

You think you should pick up the inflatable craft to cross the enormous river and get to the settlement. This colony seems to be abandoned, but for the first time, you think that maybe you are not the only survivors left on the planet.

"Come on, let's go let them know what we have found," you say.

Thinking back to the after-effects of finding the strange white polyps, how would you explain that? At least you should be able to describe a human settlement.

Haruka nods and together you head back to the crashed ship.
