"What happened next?" Sam asked. He was genuinely curious about Jun. Who was she? How did she arrive at this moment.

"Well, after that, me and sis started to forgive Papi. It was weird, but we were willing to deal with it. We also got to know Papi's pet. She was really nice and relateable. She told us all about this place, and at first we were shocked."

"Then we came to visit it, and what we found was so strange and so interesting." She blushed slightly. He imagined what face she must have made when he first saw it. He had been pretty surprised himself after all.

"So you decided to come back and try it out for yourself?"

"Well not at first. But, at the end of the day I've never really felt like I belonged at home. Even when Ma and Papi were together. We both didn't. So we decided together to start to come here. Six hours every weekend. We weren't going to make it easy."

"I'm very good at running away." She giggled and shot him a playful smirk.

"I noticed." He groaned. The memory of the morning's chase was fresh in his mind.

"But, ever since then I've just been looking for someone to bring me home. And now I have that." She pressed herself into his side and nuzzled eagerly. It was probably unwise of her to trust someone you just met so much. But, she was cute. Sam wanted to protect her. How could someone want to betray the trust of such a sweet girl?
