Escape!

She gets up and moves quickly, both of them hurrying out over the crippled door and around the hallway and out to the entrance of the training hall where... the place is completely wrecked.. destroyed.. Remy pauses in shock as desks are flipped.. equipment is spewed out everywhere with no one in sight.. The security desk is abandoned. A side office is corrupted with hideous, poisonous vines bursting through the collapsing drywall, blooming noxious, gaseous flowers of green and purple.

Then from his left, he hears the frighting crackle of electricity, a bright blue flash emitting from the left corridor.

"Ok.. not going that way." he decides, grabbing ahold of the pokegirl as they sprint to the right corridor instead.. down the cement staircase and around to the fire exit doors. He braces his charge, half expecting them to be sealed shut - but they give easily as they run both run out into the east lawn outside of the stadium.

And he runs, and runs. Almost 100 yards without stopping, pumping pure adrenaline until the girl has to stop, kneeling down. Remy turns around finally.. and what he sees.. He could never fully describe in a way that would half explain to someone who wasn't there.

Dark, sick clouds blotted out the sky above the stadium, making a circular shape with a hole in the middle. Bright blue lighting flickers unnaturally around a dark purple, ghastly beam of energy bursting up from the center of the stadium. The beam seems to be moving at a thousand feet per second, but also doesn't look like its moving an inch either. Fire swells around the south wing, engulfing the world renound architectural achievement with a sort of angry, engulfing spite.

His companion gets up again and starts urging him to continue running. After being pulled by the shirt sleeve, he starts to budge by taking a few steps backwards.. still unable to believe the living hellscape before his eyes. What was once his work, his home.. Finally, he begins turning, and then running. And running more until he couldn't be any further away from the site.
