Scared of Heights

You leave the railing and walk over towards Lexie "Come on, come help me." you ask politely.

"No." she sternly says "Let's go, enough of this stupid place."

Lexie turns her back toward you as she starts to leave The Pit. You quickly jump behind her, wrapping your arms around her body, holding her in a tight hug from behind, bringing your head down to the side of her head, close to her ear. "What's wrong?" you whisper "Did I do something?"

Lexie's body tightens up "No..." she mumbles out "Just...just...nevermind."

Still in your grip, you turn back toward The Pit, slowly shuffling both of you closer and closer to the railing.

"Darien, no! Stop. Darien." she's trying to place her feet firmly on the rocky ground, but your body strength is too much for her as you continue to inch closer and closer. She tilts her head to the side, her cheek now resting against your chest. Her eyes clenched closed.

"Darien...Darien!! Darien!!! Stop! Not any closer!" she's sounding more and more **** "Please..." you notice her eyes closing as hard as possible, her body tensing up, a tremble in her voice.

"You're afraid of heights..." you whisper to her "A Sunrider...scared of a little height." you tease her as you again shuffle a bit closer.

"Darien...stop." Her voice sounding **** "Please...Please stop!"

"We're right at the edge..." you whisper to her "Another step forward and you'll fall in" you lightly breath into her ear.

Lexie's body is pushing back on yours hard, her eyes still closed shut "Darien, okay. That's enough. I give up. Please. Let's go!" her body visibly shaking from fear. You notice a bit of perspiration dripping down her forehead.

"Lexie, I'm sorry..." you whisper out slowly in her ear as your hands roam from around her body to behind her back "For Rathkin..." you whisper into her again as you forcefully push her forward away from your body.
