The cop is one of Cody's parent's friends and he callled her to come meet you.

As Alicia rolled down the driver window to speak with the cop, Cody broke the silence. "You certainly got here quickly, Miranda."

I turned in my seat to glare at him, forgetting about my nudity for a moment. "What are you talking about?"

"Miranda's my neighbor," he explained. "She's good friends with my parents."

"Hello," Miranda greeted us. I had to cover my eyes as the light from the flashlight landed on my face.

"I wasn't sure if you'd agree," Cody said. "Miranda was the backup plan to ensure that you would cooperate."

Hearing Cody say that really upset me. Sure I'd agreed to star in their line of videos, but to hear that Cody had intended to **** me into cooperating if I didn't agree?

Neither Alicia nor Jimmy shared my feelings. After realizing that we weren't really in any trouble, they had calmed down again.

Cody, seeing the hurt look in my eyes continued. "Don't worry, I asked her to bring you some clothes." My mood instantly changed again as Miranda handed me said clothes. "It also doesn't hurt to have a cop on payroll to keep our star safe."

I got dressed in the cramped confines of the car, happy to be covered up. "Happy to help," Miranda said. "I'll have to return the car and start my shift at 6:00, though, so we'd better get started if you're still intending to film today."
