Where does Emily go first?
Motel - Time to Rest
The day had been a long one, and the trip alone had left her tired and aching. The original events that she was following up on were largely just rumor and were a week old. Getting some sleep wouldn't really be too much of a problem. Emily made her away into the more central part of the city. To her west was where the reported events were allegedly going on (Emily had her doubts.) To the east was the nice part of the city with a few blocks of large buildings that made up the main economic hub. It was also where the Police Station was located. Emily had never really liked police based on her experiences during her younger years, and the impression she had from this city's **** left her feeling a bit apprehensive to be working with them. Not to mention, there was the fact that she only had one set of clothes - she was not allowed to obtain any more unless it was an emergency. Any damage they received would be near permanent for the mission. To boot, there were the dreaded pills - those horrible, ****-levels of bad items for countering bioweapon-infection.
Emily arrived at the motel just as dusk settled in, with an orange and violet sun-fall. The motel was seedy enough, just like the rest of the city, beer bottles were piled up outside the walls of the structure, along with what must have been thousands of cigarette butts. Opening the smug-covered door, a wave of cheap air freshener hit her. She was expecting it to smell like sweat, smoke, and shit - and this wasn't much better. A single man was present in the room, seated behind a tall desk that came straight out of the 1960s. He was an overweight man, though not obese, with wide-brimmed glasses that made him look like he was a part of the set with the desk. His teeth were half-yellow, half-white as he smiled from her approach.
"Hello miss, and welcome to Kevin's One-Stop Sleep-Stop! I came up with that one myself." he gave an innocent, car-salesman wink.
"I'd like one room please." Emily replied, taking her purse off from her shoulders to reach inside.
"How long will you be staying miss?"
"Not sure, but I'll pay a day in advance each day." Emily told him, passing the credit card across the desk.
"Oh sorry miss." the man pointed to a small plastic stand on the counter.
[Credit cards not accepted.]
She shot him a suspicious look.
"Sorry, but I take the anonymity of the motel experience quite seriously. Also that I've been getting scammed by people running hacked credit cards past me. I don't trust them after that virtual cash hack some five years back." he explained.
Emily didn't necessarily blame him even if it screwed her over. A lot of businesses had lost out on income from hackers who managed to create fake accounts that passed around bogus money.
"Fine, how much will your best room cost?" she asked, pulling out her allotted cash.
"$900 a night."
"What!? That's so expensive!" Emily exclaimed.
The man nodded - "Some wealthy people also want their privacy, I do have a few high-end room to put hotels to shame. I take it that you want a cheaper room?"
Emily nodded in turn, wondering just what kind of motel she was in.
"Well I've only got one cheaper room available for $30 a night. That's all I can do though, a lot of people in town for hunting season." the motel owner told her.
"I'll take it." Emily responded, not having much of a choice in the matter.
"Here's the key - just a heads up its a communal room. That's why its so cheap."
Emily ignored him and headed straight over to her room. She was tired as hell now and just wanted to crash. Reaching the door, she unlocked it and stepped inside.
Some Options
1.) Shared bathroom.
2.) Window between her room and the neighbor
3.) Transparent Floor and Ceiling for Wealthy Clients (Bathroom and Main Room)
4.) Shared Room with a Teen Boy (of legal age)
What made the room 'communal'?

A Choose Her Humiliation Sort of Experience
Its the real big story of 600+ chapters that no one knows except those few who've stuck with it for years (who can remember Emily's Unfortunate Problems from way back?)
