You listen for a moment, then step in, gesturing Djuba and his captive to follow before shutting and locking the door behind you.

Your ears strain to hear any sound from inside the house. It is still early in the morning, so you are not surprised that all seems quiet; you're about to move on to explore, when you hear a clatter ahead and to the left. It sounds like pottery breaking followed by quiet grumbling from one of the rooms leading off this passage, and you consider what to do.
