Gotta Ask About Sandra and Paige's Hangout First

"So you and Paige's date?" I asked. The car was, maybe, ten minutes from the cinema.

"You wish it was a date." Sandra stuck her tongue out.

"No, I don't. I'd lose you to Paige any day of the week." I said dryly.

"And I'm glad you know it, Martin." She said. "It was good. We mostly sat around and watched Netflix and gossiped. That girl loves her some cartoons. She had like an encyclopedic knowledge of it all. It was really cool."

"Do you know what she does all day? Sits around and watches movies on tv. Laziest maid in the world." I laughed. I was well aware by this point of Paige's intense love of cartoons. She tended to watch them while I was out at work and there was no immediate tasks around that she would be punished if she didn't do.

"Laziest maid who you don't pay in the world." She pointed out. I didn't have a response to that besides laughing. That and pointing out we'd arrived at the cinema.
