Second Date.

It was Saturday night and Frank parked in front of Jess' house, ready to pick her up. He was about to walk up to the front door to knock, but she had been waiting for him and hurried to the car, locking her front door behind her.

“You look great, Miller.” Frank admired her attire. She wore a black knee length dress with a neck lacing and a pair of sleek black high heels.

“You don’t clean up too bad yourself, Williamson.” Jess grinned back, giving him a quick hug and kiss before jumping in the passenger seat of Frank’s Mazda 6 sedan.

“Where are we going?” She looked at him.

“You’ll see.” Frank replied ominously.

“Ooh, Mr Mysterious – I like it.” Jess laughed, buckling her seat belt.

The drive was relatively short and silent, Frank gave up no clues as to their evening. Upon arriving at the restaurant, Jess ogled the place.

“This place is really expensive Frank…” She said to him, about to protest.

“Well, you are worth it.” He interrupted her and got out to open the car door for her.

“Nawwww.” Jess half-mocked.

“Shut up.” Frank blushed, and then laughed.

“No, seriously this is really sweet; thank you Frank.” She confessed, kissing his cheek.

The restaurant had an elegant lay out; inside where white clothed tables that were lit by candlelight, a pianist played a soft melody that added to the atmosphere. And outside, a few tables sat on a cozy balcony, which had a beautiful view of the city.

“Good evening, do you have a reservation?” The waiter asked, who was standing at the door. He was a tall and elderly man, dressed in a fine suit.

“Yes, under Williamson.” Frank answered.

“Ah yes, Williamson for two. Where would you like to sit tonight, outside or in?” He questioned, addressing Frank.

“Where would you like to sit Jess?” Frank turned to look at her.
