"We capture the Farmlands!"

Three weeks later, you've sent your forces outwards. Orcs and Bandits quickly move outwards, capturing vast swathes of farmland and driving off the few sentries that are there. They quickly spread out, taking almost all of the farmlands, leaving far too little to live off. The flood of food and taxes that are sent to the lord, Lord Whitley, stops suddenly, demanding his response.

Unfortunately, in order to hold ALL the farmlands, your forces are spread thin. The garrisoned forces under Lord Whitley's command , even though they're little more than trained farmers who've grown fat and lazy on the crops, are still better than nothing. They easily push in large **** to take farms, killing your men stationed there and retreating before you can get reinforcements there. Eventually, it seems that if this continues, they'll wipe you out to the last man.

Your hold on the farmlands is impossible to keep. You need another solution.
