Chapter 28
by Fiend21
Make your battle plan or learn some lore?
Have Lilith tell you about the realm
"Lilith," you say. "Although I can imagine many, many uses for that pretty little mouth of yours, giving me a bit of a lesson would be ideal."
"It's all fairly simple. The realm we deal with is controlled by numerous species. To the North, we have the mountainous and all around shitty terrain that's held by Orcs, Goblins, Trolls and other miserable beasts. It's barren land of little interest to anyone. To the North-East are the dead-lands, the once prosperous territories that were decimated in the wars of the Great Necromancer. Now, it's dead terrain, controlled by corpses. Only bandits and young Necromancers thinking they're going to be the next Great Necromancer stir their, although there's rumors that a great Lich has risen to power there. That could be a powerful ally, you know, should it be willing to ally itself to our cause. It could perform all sorts of services for you."
Lilith emphasizes that list point with a flick of your cock.
"Are you implying necrophillia?" you ask.
"Of course not," Lilith says. "Although, I'm sure it wouldn't mind if we had a bit of fun with the dead ones. He could provide us troops. An army of undead to use could prove very useful."
"It could. Never mind, just continue. East?"
"To the East, of course, lie the Dwarven strongholds, as well as more Orc territories and wildness. Below that is the endless Great Forest. Trees. Tribes of Satyrs, ancient Treemen, an empire of Wood Elves of and who knows what else lies within. To the South are the High Elves, in their cities of marble and gold, few in number but powerful still. To the South-West lie the cities and ports of the Dark Elves, built by their endless **** labor."
You nod slowly, deep in thought.
"In the West and Central areas, the Kingdom of Man holds supreme. They hold the biggest armies, the largest cities and have the most power, although when the three Elven species combine they have a match. The Kingdom of Man also have the Halflings, the little, boring farmer fucks, under their protection."
"So, let's skip to the part that's relevant to now, then."
"Well, we're currently just south of the Northern Spine, and North of the Kingdom of Man. Due to its size, they're not likely to react to petty border disputes, so we're carving a chunk out of it to call our own before we get back to building up our forces. The area we're looking towards is a small county of farmers. Humble religious types who go to church three times a week, praise the Light, pay their taxes and fuck all else. The local Lord has almost no political capital, so we could easily take his territory from him with little backlash. Our targets include his manor, the monastery and a sweep of the farmlands. Securing the manor lets us capture the lord, giving us the power to simply swap you into place and **** the garrisons to surrender. A similar response would occur if we could take the monastery, holding the clergy captive and again, forcing the religious folk to surrender."
"And the farmlands?"
"If we spread out and take the farmlands, we'll capture the only thing this county has of value: food. If we can capture the farmlands, we starve the garrison to surrendering."
"And we can't capture all three because...?"
"We simply don't have enough troops, master. Even with the bandits and Blackfury orcs, if we want to make our victory decisive, pursuing even just two target would greatly increase our chances of losing both of them."
"Fine then... let me think," you say.
Take the manor, the monastery or the farmlands?
