Emily breaks down

Emily gives a low despairing moan and buries her face in her hands, her body shaking with sobs. Ms. Naylor looks at her, then glances back at the still defiant Valerie, whose composure is starting to crack.

"What happened Emily?" she asks softly. "Tell the truth."

"You keep your fucking mouth shut you stupid blonde bitch!" Valerie shrieks in panic. "I'll kill you if you say anything! And as for you, you're fucking fired!" She stands up, pointing a finger at the headmistress.

"If you or your father can fire me, the job isn't worth having," Ms. Naylor says quietly. "Now sit down and be quiet."

"Fuck you!" the brunette screams. "I'm leaving, and don't you dare try and stop me!" She takes a step towards the door but is jerked to a stop by the headmistress grabbing her arm and twisting it behind her back. She pushes the struggling squealing girl to a couch and forces her down on her face, holding her down with a knee.

"I need you to hold Valerie here, Mr. Carter," she says, looking over at you with a slight smile. "Don't let her up until I tell you."
