Dinner Conversation

{if Dinner_Time = 0}You take your seat at the table, sitting between Jen and Ashley. There is a variety of small movements around the table as chairs are adjusted. Each place setting has the typical plate and flatware, but also a large amount of glassware: for each, a cup of water, two wine glasses, a brandy snifter, and a low-ball. One of the wine glasses already has a red in it, though the rest of the glasses for each setting are empty.

With everyone now settled, the various dishes are passed around the table as people serve themselves. As the food is plated, Jen introduces you, briefly discussing how you met and some basic demographic factoids. She then goes around the table, introducing her relatives in turn (though you had already surmised all their names). Finally, she breathes deep, and says: "Well, that's everybody introduced. What should we talk about?"{else}There is a momentary silence, a lull in conversation. Jen nudges you, encouraging you to take the lead.{endif}
