You look out over the planet from atop a mighty thunderhead and survey your options. Almost a hundred kingdoms are scattered across the world, all isolated from one another by large stretches of wilderness or rival races.

You can, for the moment, freely review the world's history, and after a long examination you discard most of the national units except a handful of Human realms.

You narrow it down to 3:

1: Junonia: an island realm of swamps, forests, chalk-downs, and an immense central mountain called The King's Peak. In a lot of ways it is similar to Great Britain, but smaller, only about the size of England itself, not the whole British Isles.

2: Malagore the Free: this area is much like Norway, mountainous, cold, and full of hardy barbarians who are united behind their King only nominally.

3: Rumanda: far to the south of the other two realms, this area of savannahs and seasonal marshes is home to cattle herdsmen, hunters, and subsistence farmers. The people here are swarthy of skin, eye, and hair, so it will be harder to fit in, but you will not have to worry about the winter cold here...
