The truth

Well, I was going to have to confront her anyway if I couldn't find any clothes, so I tell my mom everything that happened that led up to this moment, including me stripping naked and losing all my clothes to Ashley in a blackjack game. My parents were pretty laid back and understanding people, so I hardly feel uncomfortable opening up to them, especially my mom, who reminds me a lot of Ashley in many ways.

My mother initially is shocked, but doesn't seem angry. She even laughs at the part where I bet my underwear in a panic!

"Em, that is quite the story!" she says with a laugh. "Well, it definitely explains why you're standing here naked."

"Uh, right." I say, now getting annoyed that I've been naked in front of my mom for the past few minutes. I realize that I still haven't covered up, and move my arms to block my boobs and crotch from my mom's view. "Now that that's out of the way, could you please help me finally get some clothes?"
