The Hacker and the App

Daniel Blake was exploring the wireless networks of his apartment. This was something he did frequently. He justified this to himself by saying that he was improving his hacking skills, which he used for work. The real reason was that he wanted to see what people were into. He would often find some interesting files on peoples computers or devices; be it porn or just a story draft.

Tonight, however, he found something different. He noticed a new device entering the area. It was a mobile phone. Daniel, curious about this new store of possible secrets, hacked into the phone. He quickly learned that it belongs to a Josh West. At first, it seemed like an ordinary phone, just with little information on, when something caught his attention. Well, caught his attention isn't exactly the phrase for what happened. Daniel's computer just entered the folder on its own. Daniel was puzzled by this, but the files in the folder were what caught his attention. One was an executable and the other was a text file. The text file was called "READ ME", which is normal. What was odd was that it was just created a few seconds ago.

Intrigued, Daniel opened the text file. There was not much in it.

"Take this app, Daniel. The guy it was given isn't using it as much as it wants. You will do better."
