They quickly surrendered and Artur Executed the Ranking Officer in charge, who, as one may very well imagine, Stayed behind like a pussy. As he Figured upon sighting the Keep, The Archers and Mages never bothered to Attack it with their arrows and Magic, because it was already a crumbling Ruin.

Artur had a portion of his men Begin to rebuild it, with Keira Metz and a small group of Mages assisting removing and reforming debris and broken Structures, while after using magic to rebuild the Walls, strengthened them with Magic soon after. Artur Didn't have as many Mages and Sorceresses as he would have liked to have had, but he knew Triss Merigold knew the location of a Large Number of Mages, sorceresses, Alchemists, and Magical Herbalists, and if he could secure her and Yennefer's Support it could mean one more layer of Nails into the Nilfgaardian's Coffin. He Knew that while the Hunt had been defeated by Geralt, Ciri, Yen, Triss, Lambert, Eskel, Letho, Vesemir, Zoltan, Dandelion, Keira, and Ves and Vernon Roche, Nilfgaard still posed the biggest threat riht behind the Hunt. If he could Find Ciri he could gain a Valuable ally, one who could potentially rally a small Nilfgaardian Army to her side. Then again there was the Islanders of Skellige, Cerys an Craite was their Current Monarch and they were the most ferocious Seafaring Warriors in known Existence. Then their was Temeria, and while Anais had only just turned Eighteen and his Stepmother was effectively his Regent, was Anais half Sister, they could prove valuable becuase of their Spirited Nature and Tenacity, as well as their military, although weakened.
