Lynn was growing redder by the second. If she didn't hand over her underwear, she would be absolutely screwed. But if she DID, then she would be absolutely naked-- for now-- which would be just as bad if not worse. Not to mention, then some pervert would have her underwear, as minimal as that underwear was. And she didn't want that sort of information getting out to anyone. She had to think fast.
Lynn looked around the piloting chamber of the MEKA. She didn't have anything in here that she could trade for with this Jeff guy. All she had on her was her underwear, and the MEKA itself, and she sure wasn't about to give that up. Lynn could only imagine how furious Joy would be if she gave some random pervert the state-of-the-art piece of cosplay tech she had built with her own two hands.
That didn't leave her with many options. But giving up her underwear just wasn't an option. She would have to make some sort of promise, then. And she knew exactly the sort of promise that a guy like Jeff would happily agree to.
"Wait!" she whispered to him. "I have a better idea, okay?"
