Tomorrow

Vernon woke up later in the morning next to Eve, bare-skinned and wrapped in a cloak - the two had been going many times over, that the two simply decided to stay in the woods instead of the inn at Flotsam. The fire that he had built last night had run out and only charcoal remained of the campfire. Vernon started rising up, and noticed that the witcheress was still asleep. Some parts of his body ached, and Vernon had to stretch, to help the condition disappear. Say one thing about Witchers, they have alot of stamina. A blush came to her face at that moment, indicating she was having some rather nice dreams - which was a sight itself, since Witchers were said to be emotionless mercenaries.

"Your cute when you blush Eve." He told Eve, complimenting her as he let her sleep, and started to gather their clothes, as they had tossed them quite liberally around their campsite yesterday. After putting some clothes on, he started working on the campfire and boiling some water for breakfast. Vernon still had some old bacon and porridge tucked somewhere. Flotsam wasn't far away, but it was always a good idea to something in the morning before a march, his instructor had once told him years ago. Eve began to wake up, and Vernon asked her. "Had any good dreams?"

"I am not sure," she replied, stretching herself out like a cat. "I had this sweet dream, of being with a rather handsome fellow in the forest."

"He was rather awkward at first, but later on - he even had me mewling and moaning like a water nymph. Oh, it wasn't a dream, since he is still here," spoke Eve, getting her own clothing on and gave him a long and rather sexy kiss.

"Hope Ves, won't be jealous I banged her commander," chuckled Eve, scratching his hair. Before looking at the sky and getting a notion on their time. "I think, Ves should be arriving in Flotsam' port by now. Shall we go then?"

Afterwards, both of them mounted up and rode the final miles to Flotsam.

Where a ship with the Temerian colors was waiting for them. Despite awaiting only Ves, there were some other soldiers - namely that of Temerian colors. "Took you two long enough - I was beginning to think, you got caught in that madness in Loc Muinne."

She then jerked her head towards the Temerian soldiers, whom were in a sense helping her keep the sight afloat and ready to set sail with it. "Don't know, what you two did there - but I got a group of soldiers suddenly, in my hands. Directly from John Natalis himself - says they are to follow every order of mine, directly to licking my boots if I order to. Seems you two, did quite a something to get your status changed from renegades to heroes."

"It mostly just involved, a lot of swordswinging," explained Eve, smiling at Ves. "And Roche' usual plans."
