Veevee hunts for a place to pee

The door closed behind Meg. Before Veevee could collect her thoughts she heard the shower running. Oh God...her hunk of a son is either naked or about to get naked, she thought. The voyeuristic urge to and go try to peek was rising.

Meg's car pulled out and turned into their street. Mama Cat was away now.

Veevee took a deep breath. Be good, be good, she told herself.

But the cascading water's suggestive sound reminded Veevee that she had started the day with a big cup of coffee, and now she had to do something about it. She looked round the ground floor of the house.

Meg's house was so new it had a new-paint smell and there were manufacturer brag stickers on some of the windows. Meg had got the last lot on the street and had gone up rather than out. While Meg and Vic wouldn't be literally on top of each other, it was a small house.

Veevee squeezed her PC muscle against the pressure.

But there must be another bathroom, right?

Veevee worked her way up the stairs. That door was Vic's bedroom, that door was Meg's. She opened Meg's door. The room was dominated by a large bed -- clearly Meg expected company. On the nightstand were a clock, a cellphone cradle, a water glass, and...Veevee grinned. Yes. An expensive cordless vibrator sitting in a charging stand. That door was the closet, that one...Meg's bathroom?

Veevee sighed in dismay. Yes, it was Meg's bathroom, but there was tape over the sink and the toilet lid. She tried the faucet on the sink. No water. She squeezed against the pressure again. Now what?

The stairs went up one more floor, opening onto a roof deck. No comfort here, unless she wanted to pee into one of the containers of freshly planted flowers.

Well, something must be done. If she wasn't to pee on the flowers, it would have to be the kitchen sink, the back yard, or she'd have to beg Vic to use the downstairs toilet. She squeezed tight again.
