"You are the most incredible thing that I have ever seen, I knew that I just had to meet you." you say looking deep into her crimson eyes.

Her guard seems to lower.

"Your perfect skin... Your thick red lips..." you trail off.

"I know very well what I look like, little mouse. The millennia have been kind".

Millennia? you think to yourself. Just how ancient is she?

"You have been alive for millennia?" you ask

"What a rude boy to ask a lady her age." she teases. "Tell me how I can leave this place."

"Simple." you reply "Become mine."

"So you too wish to make me a servant, just like that damned hunk of scrap metal?" she hisses.

You have to hold back a giggle at her complete lack of respect for the dark lord.

"I do not." you say calmly "I wish to bind us with Sacramentum."

Shock and confusion race across her face.

"Get out."

"No."

"I said GET OUT!"

"And I said no."

"Do you understand what it is you are asking? Do you even know what Sacramentum is?"

"I understand fully."

"Clearly you do not. Sacramentum is not a game for children like you to play!"

Wait, is she worried about me?

"Sacramentum is the joining of two souls. It is two people becoming one. They share thoughts, feelings... Memories."

"I told you that I understand what is involved."

"And I told you that you didn't!" she shouts. "A Sacramentum with me will kill you."

"And why do you care if I live or die?"

"Fool. I do not care if you live or die right now. During a Sacramentum, our souls intertwine. If you die, I die."

"You are the fool here."

"What?!" she didn't enjoy that insult.

"You are already dead!" you say "You spend your life in a dusty old cathedral with no company, no food, nothing to do. Tell me, when was the last time you even had the chance to speak to somebody like you are with me right now?"

She looks almost... Sad?

"But at least I am alive..." She says in a hushed tone, trying to convince herself. "He cannot kill me and I cannot die. One day he will, and this barrier will fade... I can leave again."

"Don't you want to leave?" you ask.

"Of course I want to leave!" tears forming in the corner of her eyes.

"Then let us leave, together"

"I have told you. Sacramentum with me will kill you. You aren't strong enough to survive... In Sacramentum, you will receive all of my memories."

"I know that."
