You absorb the details of the garden until Fergus awakes

You sit in the soft grass of the perfumed Garden, soaking in its night breezes. Fergus, Fay, and Morgan sleep, the two Minerval students entwined, the Leontes Housemaster -- your sponsor, whose bitter rival Selina Lune is now your secret teacher -- Fergus is sprawled to the side, the signs of his self-pleasuring evident.

You make a study of the Garden, taking its magical pulse, feeling with your magical senses where its energies flow. You catch the trace of where Selina Lune departed, and faintly where you had entered with the others from the doorway in Fergus's office. Committing every detail to memory, you promise yourself you'll be back.

At length, Fergus awakes, cleans and composes himself, looking a little surprised that he has fallen asleep. He wakes Fay and Morgan, gathers you all and takes you back through the portal to his office.

Time has passed, certainly, but it doesn't seem you've been gone as long as it feels.

A week later, the moon shining through your bedroom window, you sit at your dressing table. Reflected in the mirror, you see Selina Lune instead of your own image. She puts a finger to her lips and communicates silently, words shaping themselves in the expression of her face and the gaze of her violet eyes.
