Katie had been sick a lot the last few weeks, but she couldn't understand why. This morning, she had puked two times in a row. Daddy had been very mad at her for ruining the carpet, so when he came home today Katie sure would try her best to make it up to him.
Her stinky had been used a lot since the first time on that roadway. She was glad having fun didn't hurt that much anymore. Having fun was all she lived for.
Her skin was lots darker, her hair straight and bright, her lips sooo much bigger, and the candy pink color would never come off, Daddy had told her when she’d tried to wipe them. He’d been so mad then. Girls weren't allowed to wipe their lips, he’d said. Katie had never wiped them sinse, but it was annoying how the drool was constantly dripping from her chin. Last week she had asked Daddy for help.
He’d given her something to put in her mouth against the drooling. He always locked it around her head after dinner. She would be so happy now, he'd said. So Katie tried to be happy the whole day, even though the pain in her jaw made her cry sometimes. The thingy was hard and big. A bit like fun, but then it never went soft.
