What do I say to try and convince them?
I'm engaged!
"So you're too good for black men, huh? You must be a racist."
"No, no," I plead. "I had a black friend in high school! And, and, I have 50 Cent's latest album! It's just that I'm engaged!" I show them my left hand, with a big showy diamond ring on the third finger, given to me by my fiancee, Doe.
One of the guys grabs my arms from behind, pulling them behind my back, making my breasts even more noticeable than usual.
"No sudden moves, girl," he sneers. His friend grabs my purse and starts going through it. The third guy asks if I've ever been with a black guy. I reluctantly shake my head.
"Well, once you go black, you won't go back." he says. "Now, unless you want your hubby identifying your body at the morgue tomorrow, you'll do exactly what we say."
The guys put me down on a coach and look at each other with big smiles on their faces.
