"With this!" Linkle said, pulling a device out of her pack.

Cremia leaned forward. "What is it?" It was mostly cubical, with some parts metal and some parts glass.

"It's a pictograph box."

She cocked her head. She had never heard of one before. "What does it do?"

"It will help you overcome your fear of being seen naked."

Her eyes widened. "Really? How does it work?"

"I'll show you. Follow me." She led Cremia to her bedroom. "Lie down on your bed."

Cremia complied, keeping her arms in place to block Linkle's view. "Like this?"

"Yeah, but relax a bit. You don't look very comfortable."

"That's because I'm naked."

"Well, pretend to be comfortable."

Cremia groaned and rolled over, knowing that she was showing Linkle her naked butt, but at least her breasts and womanhood were out of sight. She heard a click and saw a brief flash of light. "What was that?"

"The pictograph box."

"I still don't know how it works."

"I know, but you have to trust me."

Trust. She had no reason to trust this girl. She had never met her before yesterday, but if she had trusted Romani as Linkle had, then maybe she wouldn't be in this mess right now. "And this will make me not afraid to be seen naked in town?"

If you give up, I'm going to make copies of these pictures, blow them up so they're life sized portraits of you, and distribute them to everyone in Termina. Either way, people see you naked, so you have no reason to let it ruin your life."

"What? You … what?"

Linkle grinned like it was all a wonderful game instead of a horrible nightmare. "I do what I can to help those around me. You can thank me later."

It slowly dawned on Cremia just what sort of position she was in, just how screwed she was. And then she screamed.
